“Ferbane Tidy Towns would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the receipt of partial funding from Community Enhancement grant and acknowledge the work and support from Offaly County Council with our efforts to restore the “Forest of Ferbane.”
Phase one was the planting of our beautiful Lime Trees along the Ferbane relief road.We hope to add to this tree line in the Autumn months.
We envisage a plan to regenerate the Forest of Ferbane by collecting the native seed, acorns chestnuts of our older existing generation of trees and nurturing the saplings to be able to replant and build on our existing resources.
We would like to remind everyone of our commitment to the Biodiversity App and Curio App for logging our visiting wildlife and location of trees in our gardens, hedgerows and farmed lands around Ferbane.
