FERBANE/BELMONT MINOR CLUB – GAA FAMILY FUN DAY IN MOYSTOWN 

Friday 12th: U6/U8/U10 Football Training in Ferbane at 6pm. Junior A Hurling Championship v Shamrocks in Moystown at 7pm. Saturday 13th: U8 Football Go Games Blitz in Ferbane. Time to be confirmed by text. Saturday 13th: Senior Hurling Championship v St. Rynagh’s in Birr at 5pm. Please note that any changes to the above will be notified by text.

BELMONT HARVEST AND VINTAGE FESTIVAL 2016 – Lios Dearg Vintage Club Belmont will be hosting their Annual Festival this year on Sunday 25th September from 12 noon in Belmont Village. More details to follow in the coming weeks. In the meantime please check out their Facebook Page at Liosdeargvintageclub Belmont for all the latest news and updates.

Irish Dancing class’s    Will recommence in September.

Girl Guides                       Will recommence in September.

Country and Western Dance Classes:   Classes will resume again on Monday 5th September. All welcome.

Bingo:              Pullough Community Hall  every Monday night at 8pm

FERBANE/BANAGHER MACRA      Cycling continues in Lough Boora on Monday evenings at 7.30pm. All are welcome to join us.   If you live in the Ferbane/Banagher area and are interested in joining our Macra Club, contact Sarah Jane Egan on 085 1036705 for more information.

Tuesday:

PARENT & TODDLER GROUP – Continues every Tuesday from 10.30am – 12.30pm at Heritage Centre,Ferbane. Parents / Guardians and children 0 to 5 welcome. Cost per family is €4. Details from 086 3671799 or 086 2114855.

Brownie’s     Will recommence in September.

FERBANE TIDY TOWNS – Please join us at the Mary Ward Heritage Centre, Ferbane at 7pm EVERY Tuesday evening. Thank you for keeping Ferbane Tidy

COFFEE MORNING – – Will recommence in September on Wednesday’s at 10.30am in the Heritage Centre

Ladybirds:  Will recommence in September

SOCIAL DANCING CLASSES – Continue on Wednesday’s at 8pm in High Street Hall. All welcome.

FERBANE PRAYER GROUP – A Prayer Meeting brings people together for prayer and sharing the Word of God. In sharing the Word of God, in sharing the Bible, we come to know our friend Jesus, our Brother and Saviour. You are very welcome to the next Prayer Meeting in St. Cynoc’s Junior School on Wednesday 17th August at  8.30pm.

FERBANE LIBRARY –

LYNX CYCLING CLUB ADULT BEGINNERS GROUP – Continues every Monday and Wednesday from the Business Park at 7pm and every Thursday morning at 9.30am. Helmets compulsory. New members welcome. For more information contact 087 2926365.

Ferbane Athletic Club:  Juvenile Athletics Training for all from 7 years upwards at Gallen United Soccer Pitch each Thursday evening from 7.30 to 8.30pm.  All welcome.

SOCIAL DANCING – In  Ferbane GAA centre on Thursday ‘s .  Juniors 7-8pm, Beginners 8-9pm, Advanced and music 9-10.30pm. Tea and light  refreshments served on the night!

Friday:

OFFICIAL OPENING OF ABBEYLARA COMMUNITY CENTRE – On Friday 12th August with a FREE Concert featuring local artistes. Bus leaves Moystown at 7pm and Ferbane at 7.15pm. To book contact Tommy Kenny 085 8187855 before Wednesday 10th August. Cost of bus €10. All welcome.

 GALLEN UNITED –   Astroturf Pitch Hire: The Astroturf pitch is available for booking for all occasions including parties, tournaments, team training, fundraisers etc. at a very reasonable rate. Contact Liam at 087 6864992.

NAOMH CIARÁN – U6, U8, U10, U12 training every Friday at Ferbane GAA pitch at 6pm.

FERBANE FÓROIGE END OF YEAR – The Clubs have now closed until September. Members involved in Citizenship projects – Bikes4Africa and I’m A Friend, Leadership for Life, the upcoming visit to Loughan House and Aldi National Baking will be contacted directly about travel dates and arrangements. Have a great summer and see you all when September comes again.     FERBANE LIBRARY – Open Thursday afternoon, Friday and Saturday am. Knit2gether group meet at 2pm every Thursday. New members welcome .
